Holla if you got your Pride on this Weekend!!!
Wednesday, July 9th, 2008I know that I saw some of you folks out at Pride this weekend. I think my proudest moment was when a cute little guy with nipple piercings, a spiked dog collar, leather pants (girl don’t you know they were chafin’ after the rain!!!!) and a harness ran from the QRT T-Shirt booth screaming, “that’s just wrong!!!” I’ve always known Rhonda had mad-skills. (He was referring to the “Love Me” T.) She’s way more twisted than she looks.
I enjoyed meeting all the folks this weekend. We do love to show off for one another. I saw a girl with her hair did up in Skittles. I kid you not. I was tempted to ask who last “tasted the rainbow” but restraint kicked in just in time.

Well for those of you who braved the weather, (and to those of you who didn’t, why didn’t you? you know it ALWAYS rains on the parade.) I think a good time was had by all. It was different this year but still I think it was good. I think the Pride Committee and the Civic Center both did a great job dealing with a difficult situation.
